Job Description

We are delighted to be working with a returning VIP client to assist in the recruitment of an experienced and highly capable House Manager to oversee hospitality operations on a unique and prestigious working farm located near Doha, Qatar. This is a truly exceptional opportunity for a seasoned hospitality professional seeking a dynamic and rewarding role within an exclusive private environment. The estate operates as a working farm with a dedicated hospitality site, and the successful candidate will take full responsibility for managing the smooth day-to-day running of this function. The role is notably seasonal in nature, considerably busier during the winter months and more relaxed during the summer period, offering a varied and engaging working rhythm. The House Manager will oversee a team of 20 hospitality staff, ensuring the highest standards of service, presentation, and operational efficiency are maintained at all times. This position is open to both male and female candidates. Please note that due to the nature of the client and the security requirements in place, candidates who have previously worked in the Middle East will not be considered. Key Responsibilities • Oversee the full day-to-day management of the hospitality site on a prestigious working farm near Doha • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of 20 hospitality staff, ensuring high performance and professional standards • Plan and coordinate hospitality operations throughout the busy winter season and maintain standards during the quieter summer period • Ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional guest experiences across all areas of the estate • Manage staff rotas, scheduling, and day-to-day HR responsibilities in collaboration with the principal • Liaise with external suppliers, contractors, and service providers to maintain seamless operations • Oversee the procurement and management of household and hospitality supplies • Maintain impeccable presentation and upkeep of all hospitality areas throughout the property • Support event planning and guest preparation, ensuring all requirements are met to the highest standard • Uphold confidentiality and discretion at all times in line with the expectations of a VIP household • Report directly to the principal and provide regular operational updates as required Ideal Candidate • Proven experience as a House Manager or Senior Hospitality Manager within a private estate, luxury hotel, or UHNW household • Strong leadership skills with demonstrable experience managing large teams • Confident working in a seasonal, fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to changing demands • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach • Professional, discreet, and well-presented at all times • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Candidates must not have previously worked in the Middle East Package • Salary: $6,000 – $7,000 net per month (DOE) • Accommodation provided on site • 45 days holiday per annum with a return flight home included • Visa and travel expenses provided • Health insurance included
