If you’re looking for a full-time position and you have previous experience in managing a large home, then here’s a wonderful opportunity to help a busy family of five located in Yandina Creek on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland. This is a full time, well paying position with working hours of 9am – 6pm, Monday to Friday. Your duties will combine both general housekeeping, house management and nannying duties so your day will be busy and varied! There are three children in the home aged 9, 7 and 5, so they do attend school during the week so your involvement will include after school care, taking them to various activities when required and general supervision and engaging the children with creative, outdoor activities. Home management duties will see that you ensure the home is always presented in a clean and tidy manner, such as making the beds, running errands, preparation of family style meals, scheduling any home repairs or additional staff such as cleaners, gardeners, trades, etc. Being an animal lover is important as they have horses, dogs and a cat in their extended family! Requirements: Must be an Australian resident as we are seeking longevity for the years to come; Previous housekeeping experience in private homes; Be a confident cook; Be flexible and willing to handle a variety of tasks; Experience with primary school aged children, nurturing and kind while being firm if necessary; First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one if successful in your application; Hold a Police Check and Blue Card; Drivers License and Own Car; Be reliable and trustworthy and discrete; A salary package of circa $90,000 + Superannuation and entitlements is on offer for the right person and depending on their experience.
